Providing the optimal homogenizing solution for your business
Unison’s experience working with all leading brands of Homogenizers ensures we are perfectly positioned to advise on the right Homogenizer solution for your business. One which optimizes your energy consumption and delivers consistent high-quality output for your business and customers. We provide a wide range of leading makes and models of Homogenizers including HST, APV, SPX, Rannie, GEA Niro Soavi, BOS, Bertoli, Alfa Laval and many more.
Homogenization is used to achieve a range of different results: to prevent a cream line and sedimentation in milk products; to improve the viscosity, taste, and texture of cream or juice-based drinks; to improve the mouth feel of soy beverages; and to prevent the separation of the whey in yogurt.
Unison are the sole distributors of HST Krones Homogenizers in Ireland. HST’s high-pressure Homogenizers are designed and manufactured in Dassow, Germany, leveraging decades of design expertise in this field. HST produce a wide range of high-quality, reliable homogenizing machines designed to meet the specific needs of your liquid processing operation.
We also sell high-quality reconditioned Homogenizers from Alfa Laval, APV, Bertoli, FBF, Gaulin, GEA, Niro Soavi, Rannie, SPX, Tetra Pak, and others, as well as being the one-stop shop for all your Homogenizer servicing and testing needs within Ireland.
The components used by HST have been developed under practical conditions, rigorously tested, and can be modified according to the application. We offer comprehensive advice on the configuration of your HST homogenizer to help you achieve an optimal homogenizing solution adapted to the specific needs of your product
All valves offered by HST are highly efficient, low-noise, and easy to service. Different valve materials such as high-strength stainless steels, sintered materials, or ceramics can achieve optimum homogenizing effects for a wide variety of products. We offer PLUG, PILOTED, and energy-saving Multigap valves for our HST homogenizers. Depending on the flow rate and valve size, the valves are controlled pneumatically or hydraulically.
The material of our pistons can be adapted exactly to your product properties. We offer standard pistons, chrome-plated pistons, ceramic pistons, and pistons with a special HST coating. This coating reduces the abrasion on the piston which significantly extends the lifetime. In order to guarantee optimum running smoothness of the HST homogenizer, the piston geometry is individually designed on the basis of the process parameters specified. This has a noticeable positive effect on the noise emission of the homogenizer, as well as a significant reduction of pulsation in your downstream process.
Tailored to the many different properties of your product, we offer a wide range of materials to enable maximum service life in conjunction with the appropriate piston design. The HST packing system guarantees a significant extension of service life.
The aseptic homogenization technique is often used for processing UHT or sterile products. The homogenization only occurs after heat treatment, which significantly increases the creaming stability. HST homogenizers are available in septic or aseptic design. By using on-site superheated steam, condensate or even sterile water as a barrier in aseptic HST homogenizers, recontamination of your product can be eliminated.
HST process equipment stands out through its combination of proven experience and the most up-to-date technology: inexpensive, energy saving, fast, assured quality, and high versatility.
